definition

Compression springs are spiral springs that withstand pressure, also known as cylindrical spiral springs. The cross-section of compression springs is generally circular, and the spring wires are commonly of equal pitch or variable pitch. Different designs mainly meet the requirements of installation space, force value, and stiffness. The shapes of compression springs include cylindrical, conical, medium convex and concave, as well as a small amount of non circular shapes. There is a certain gap between the coils of compression springs, and when subjected to external loads, the springs contract and deform, storing deformation energy.

The material for compression springs generally uses chromium nickel iron alloy, which has good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and good oxidation resistance.
